Lighthouse Background & Mission Statement
Background:
Lighthouse Technical Sales, LLC was created as the successor company to Harman Associates, a Boston-based sales rep company founded by Harold Feinman in 1961. Larry Knight, who was mentored by Harold, eventually formed Lighthouse and oversaw the acquisition of Harman Associates' assets in March 2004.
Lighthouse supports the New England Mil-Aero, Shipboard, Telecom, Harsh-Industrial Environment, Broadcast, Commercial and Medical markets. Lighthouse sells Active, Passive and Electro-Mechanical products both OEM direct and through our principal's distribution-partner network.
In 2010, Lighthouse purchased and moved into a 3,800 square foot office space located in Nashua's historic Lake Street Mill Complex, which houses the company's operations to this day. This space includes multiple offices, a 24' x 15' company conference/product training room, a principal product display area, a Platt carry-shipping case storage room and an automated prototype foam cutting workshop. The office was also renovated to replicate the woven-belt, metal drive-shaft and pulley shoe factory manufacturing floor that existed in the building over 90 years ago. There are multiple collections of historic industrial supplies and "antique" pieces of shoe machinery on display.
Mission:
Lighthouse's mission is to forge and strengthen customer relationships for our principals, maximizing their business opportunities and volume of sales in the New England market. We are interested in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with principals who want a hard working, professional, technical sales team with long-term customer relationships, superior character, and a proven track record of success.
